This is the website of the Local History Society of the village of Kingston in the South Hams district of Devon, England. Annual subscriptions are £3.50 per person for entry to all events and runs for a year from the AGM Next events (members free, non members £2): Thursday November 9th at 8:00 pm AGM an opportunity to pay the annual membership subscription, have a glass of wine and light refreshments, followed by an exhibition of archive material showing Kingston "Then and Now"  Thursday November 23rd at 8:00 pm Nigel Overton Maritime Heritage Officer & Curator of Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery will give an illustrated lecture about the city's link with the survivors of the Titanic in 1912 entitled “Plymouth and the Titanic” 2017/18 events Archive Contents is a PDF file listing the items that are held in our archives. Please email us or contact a member of the committee if you wish to consult anything on this list. Parish Registers contains scanned images of transcriptions of the Births/Christenings, Marriages & Deaths/Burials registers for the parish from 1635. School Reunion - some photos from an event held on 15th September 2007 Grave Stones is a list of all Grave Stones & Memorials in the Church together with Census extracts about the families involved.
