PROGRAMME OF FUTURE EVENTS/SPEAKERS FOR 2015

2015

Thursday. February 26th - Once again Bill Scarratt returns with his amazing volume of local research with a talk Joseph Whidby, Devonian Limestone a the construction of the Plymouth Breakwater entitled "The Great National Undertaking"

Thursday, March 26th - Mery Freeman will possibly give a talk on the History of Kingston Fire station- further details to follow.

Thursday. April 23rd (2pm) - visit to the Cookworthy Museum in Kingsbridge for a talk by the Chairman on "Hidden Treasures from behind the Scenes" interesting objects will be brought out which are not usually on display.

Thursday, May 28th - Visit to Lady Astor's House, 3 Elliot Terrace Plymouth, tour 2pm price £5.25 pp. Please indicate if you are interested in this trip to Margaret.

Summer Break June-October

Thursday. October 22nd - AGM t/b/a

Meetings take place on a Thursday at 8pm in Kingston Reading Room (except where noted) with refreshments afterwards; trips/visits to historical venues are organised by Margaret Cocks.
